when i met pearl for the first time a while bck, her first few words to me were, ur a model? you should let me be ur manager, we can make some real money together, am serious u should let me manage u for real lol...





When she mentioned to me that she was a rapper my jaws dropped lol. i said oh no you too? so everyone in brooklyn is rapper now... and plus u look nothing like a rapper, ur better off as a model, rappers do not look like you....






So i asked her to spit something lol, SHE STARTED FREESTYLING.... the moment she opened her mouth i couldnt believe it...(WOW)... i said to her let me be your manager, you're really talented... you can even do both you can model and rap...




At the time i never thought of ever owning a camera or even becoming a photographer, so i refered her to several photographers to get her started with....







she never really liked the idea of working with other photographers, she was always very uncomfortable, so she thought it would be a great idea for me to be a photographer so i can be her personal photographer. it's either that or she will continue doing music because that's her true passion not modeling....



Since i've always thought to myself photography will be one of the best ways for me to promote my brand FLY BOY CITY. i agreed with the idea, so i got me a digital camera.....ever since then she would have me go to most of her shows and performances to take photos, while she's on stage...




Glamour gurl pearl is very talented...she is the true defination of don't judge a book by its cover... when she opens her mouth, she has rediculous bars and punchlines and her words play is amazing for a female MC...



although she is very hungry and ambitious, at the same time very strong headed, it takes alot to get her to show up to fashion shows and events that i have booked for her to model in... she makes it very clear to me that modeling is not her true passion....




bumping heads from time to time due to business disagreements and misunderstandings, trying to manage a multi talented individual is very hard, Especially a female MC.. But definatly keep a lookout for my friend GLAMOUR GURL PEARL...

when we were young back home in nigeria, he would usually spend most of hes time with hes friends making music and releasing mix tapes. they had a group called the Gentle souls...



He has a unique style that seperates him from other artist... dr. pat known as the condo master is very versatile with a unique style of hip hop, reggae, dance hall and nigerian style music

So i asked my sister to teach me how to do make up, especially when a model shows up to shoot unprepared, i woun't have to get a make up artist i can just apply the make up myself... she says why do u want to learn how to do make up?? my responds was it makes things alot easier..

so as she was explaining to me, the different kinds of foundations and conceila, lipsick how to apply eye shadows the different colors e.t.c,
i was thinking to myself naa that sounds like alot of work and it'll take too much of my time lol...

so i went on my computer and grabed a pic of model friend alba and i applied make up in photoshop digitaly... maybe if i can do it in photoshop i wount have to physically go through all that work lol...

if u noticed I applied pink lips stick to her lips, i also applied pink eye shadows under her eye brows in photoshop, i cleaned her skin and brighting the background...

my boy edgar, me and edgar are both signed to the same agency, although he doesn't show up to casting calls or bookings lol...when I told edgar i wanted to take photos of him for the first time, he said huh?? you?? photographer?? i said yea lol... he said since when?? i hope ur not one of those wack muthafuxas with a camera calling then self phohographers.. but am axtious to see what you can do...




he was very impressed with the results... like wow... still couldnt believe it... knowing edgar for a while now i knew it would be really easy shooting him, especially hes unique and attractive features, he looks almost like the actor/singer tyrese....
He has a face for gap or h&M ads... so i wanted to express that with the brown sweater and hat...



in a nice suite looking smoooth...i wanted to shoot him in something plaine and smooth.. sharp enough he can sell the suite...
